Demonstrations and Sample Trials
Will Dry Ice blasting work for me?
If a particular application has not previously been tried by ourselves, we are available to conduct experimental trials using a range of blasting equipment on a material sample or on machinery parts. In the case of material samples, such trials can usually be carried out within our cleaning centre in Littlehampton.
Clients are encouraged to send or bring along samples for experimentation purposes. We will then endeavour to assess the viability of the blasting process using the equipment and gun sets we believe to be most suited to that particular sample. A trial report will then be issued detailing the procedures and results achieved. All material samples are then returned to the client for appraisal.

CryoGenesis (UK) Ltd. are also able to conduct live, pre-arranged demonstrations of our dry ice blasting systems at a prospective client's premises. In order for the demonstration to proceed successfully, we will need to conduct a brief survey of the client's premises and compressed air capability. We need to ensure that there is sufficient available energy in terms of air volume and pressure. See Getting Started.
If the available plant air is insufficient or does not meet the quality requirements, arrangements can be made for a suitable air compressor to be hired and delivered to the client's site for the purpose of the demonstration. Between us we will decide which equipment is most suitable for the application. The equipment will arrive at the client's premises with a fully trained operator to conduct the demonstration.
The Dry Ice blasting media will be delivered to the client's site on the morning of the demonstration in a specially constructed container. The amount of dry ice required for a demonstration is variable depending on the application, but enough media for 30 minute trials are usually sufficient.
If you would like to discuss Dry Ice cleaning or would like to arrange a demonstration, our staff will be happy to help. See Contact us
